Paint Your Own NKP

Looking for a creative way to celebrate or just gather your favourite people?

Paint Your Own with NKP is a relaxed, hands-on experience designed for adults who want to connect, unwind, and get a little creative.

How it works

I bring the pottery, you bring the people!

Each guest gets their own handmade mug to paint using a wide selection of underglazes. I’ll provide everything needed - mugs, brushes, colours, tablecloths, placemats - while guiding you through the process with simple tips and encouragement. No artistic experience needed!

These sessions are held in your home, workplace, or chosen venue. All you need to do is provide a table/s and chairs to seat your group comfortably, and I’ll take care of the rest.

Please note: These can only be held locally - here in Blenheim.

The Details

Cost: $90 per person
Duration: Approx. 2.5 hours
Includes: Handmade NKP mugs, underglazes, brushes, protective table setup
Minimum group: 6 people
Age: 16+ only
Location: Hosted at your place (home, office, or event space)
After the event: I take your creations back to my studio to glaze and fire them. Finished mugs are returned to the host approx. 2 weeks later, ready to be used and treasured forever.

Booking & Availability

If you’ve got a specific date in mind, it’s best to book early - especially for weekends. I recommend enquiring 6 to 8 weeks in advance.

To secure your date, a non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

From the moment I made the booking to when the mugs were delivered, Ness was a dream to deal with.
She's warm, funny, and full of helpful tips that made everything really simple, especially at the beginning when we were all a bit nervous and unsure of what we wanted to create. She gave us ideas and even had some Pinterest inspo to get us going.

Her setup is beautiful, and she takes the time to explain how the glazing and kiln process works, with examples so you know exactly how the colours will turn out.

The turnaround time was super quick, and she even dropped the finished mugs off to me, which was such a lovely touch. The mugs turned out amazing (and bonus: they're dishwasher friendly too). Hosting a PYO event was such a fun, relaxed way to spend time with friends. Great value, great vibes. I'll definitely be doing it again!
